Monthly Challenge: Love Cards.

I am part of a Stampin' Up team of card makers called Team Shiny... we are a small team always looking to grow. In order to further our card making creativity we are challenging each other to make a card on a theme each month. This month's challenge was the first one, and it was "Love."

We hope to manage to set up blogs this month and have our challenges ready to go on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

Here is Little Green Dragon posing with my Love card...

It is very Pink... I don't use pinks too often but I do have quite a lot of them. This card used Petal Pink and Blushing Bride... with the new mini catalogue foil papers and metallic ribbon in Blushing Bride. Something else I had a play with on this card was the new blending brushes to give a "blush" of pink to my Greyscale stamping and background papers.

I also did some die cuts from the Wrapped Bouquet bundle using the Blushing Bride Foil, and layered them with both the Wrapped Bouquet flower stamps to give more depth to the bouquet. Here are some close ups of aspects of the card...
